First, does this game allow duplicate characters, if their in-game AUs are different?
Second, you mention the possibility for power regains in the application. Is this merely "possible" or is it a certainty? (Some of my characters simply aren't as interesting without powers, and that would take them out of the running :) )
Third, how would a character who is literally one soul in two bodies be applies for? For example, someone with a daemon, from the His Dark Materials series? Would that daemon appear as a mute pet, or be invisible, or be returned along with memories? What about characters who are never seen apart in their canon, such as supernatural twins? Could they be apped on the same journal by the same player, or would they be required to be separate characters played by two people?
Fourth, is there a character limit for a single player, or a limit to the number of applications allowed for a single app round (since they're so far apart)?
About how many words are you looking for in the AU history sections? These could be extremely developed and fleshed out, or they could be a basic idea. A guideline would help, because as far as I know, they're the character a player will be playing for at least their first few weeks in the game.
Pardon me if this is mentioned somewhere and I overlooked it, but in a lot of false memory games I've seen, characters at least start with a fake name. Will this be the case here? Other than obvious necessary changes to surnames for characters in some roles, of course.
Since this is AU, would it be possible to age my character to 25 (if I were apping the mistress)? She's 22 in her canon, which wouldn't be much of a stretch.
I've played this character in a game before, thus I have an application written. This character didn't have much magic/etc in her story, so for Aungier it's really just a matter of converting a normal person to a different historical point. She still has the same key points to her plotline, which have shaped her personality.
Thus her personality isn't really changed, at all, except for some concessions to the role of a woman from a historical standpoint.
Can I use the personality I already have written, even though it was written for a modern day woman? It's on this journal if you'd like to glance at it for clarification.
Hi, I have a question. I know that all characters appear on the front steps in the middle of the night, but I was wondering, is it possible for non-family members to have an AU history that includes having been at the house for some time, or do they have to be new to the house? To take Kiritsugu here as an example, could I have his false memories include him having been the family gamekeeper for years?
THIS…is probably a weird question but since you mentioned planes would the Valdemars have been working on vehicle designs of any kind? The guy I'm considering happens to be a giant robot pilot and it might be hilarious for him to be a family friend by sidelining as their test pilot/driver/whatever when he's not being, idk, a mercenary or something. If not, I can always find something else for him to do or maybe consider a different character, it's no biggie!
IC-type question. Does Aungier house run on London time (that is, sleeping late and staying up late to take advantage of entertainments) or country time (that is, up early to take advantage of the light)?
Also, is the house set up primarily with electricity, or is it mostly gas still? I know the family in charge is pretty fascinated with technology, but that doesn't necessarily mean everyone has the latest-and-greatest, so I wanted to make sure >.>
Hey, quick question regarding the one-character-per-canon-per-player thing. Would I be able to app a character from Fate/Zero while still playing Misaya? I've been sitting here for a while trying to figure out how to phrase this question, but tl;dr I'd argue that they shouldn't be counted as a single series because they take place in different continuities, with an utterly different cast of characters. Even the ones you could say are shared between series (ex: the version of Gilgamesh seen in Zero/Stay Night and the one seen in Prototype) are markedly different in their behavior and even design, and the character I'm looking to app doesn't even exist in the same universe as Misaya (or vice versa). They would have no more reason to interact with each other than they did any other character.
'Course, this is kind of a judgment call, so I understand if you feel otherwise!

I ask because I'm currently debating between two I'd like to try here, and I wanted to know if I could reserve both and decide later.
