THIS…is probably a weird question but since you mentioned planes would the Valdemars have been working on vehicle designs of any kind? The guy I'm considering happens to be a giant robot pilot and it might be hilarious for him to be a family friend by sidelining as their test pilot/driver/whatever when he's not being, idk, a mercenary or something. If not, I can always find something else for him to do or maybe consider a different character, it's no biggie!

Though technology obviously isn't quite advanced enough for what he might be used to, and though the Valdemar family don't specialise in vehicles themselves, Lady Valdemar would still be interested in sponsoring a character who did. While Graham would not have immediate access to any sort of unusual vehicles, if his AU self was involved with them, constructing one or working on a prototype himself wouldn't be out of the question.
Thanks! Do you mean as a foundling then? Or as someone who got involved with the family through certain vaguely-defined scientific contacts in…the US, if it's possible? Just wanna make sure I get everything right and don't step on any toes. =u=a
The Mistress doesn't deal in invention, so not as a foundling, but the Master takes on apprentices and students who are given space to work and access to materials, provided they help with his own studies; if he's too old for that, he could also be a contact from the US, yes!
